# Royal Flush is considered to be the best hand a player can get. A royal flush contains A, K, J, Q and 10 with all the cards having the same suit. It is extremely difficult to get this type of a hand even after mastering the game and playing it for many years. The probability of getting a Royal Flush is 1 in 650,000.
# A player is said to have a straight flush when he has five consecutive cards of the same suit. The royal flush is the best kind of straight flush. The probability of getting a straight flush is 1 in 72,200.
# When a player has the combination of card which has three cards of the same kind and a pair, it is called a full house, for example, KKK33. It is also sometimes called “Kings full of three’s”. In a game the player who scores the highest ranking three of a kind wins the pot. The chance of getting a full house is 1 in 700.
# Any five cards belonging to the same suit makes up the flush. The best possible flush combination is A3579. The probability of a flush is 1 in 510.
# Four of a kind hand means when there are four cards belonging to the same rank along with any other card for example, QQQQ with any other card. The player with the highest ranking four of a kind will win. The probability of getting this kind of a hand is 1 in 4,200.
# When a player has three cards belonging to the same rank then it is said to be a three of a kind hand. The chance of getting three of a kind is 1 in 48.
